- Kim too slim? North Koreans are worried over an "emaciated" Kim Jong Un, state media reports. Kim Jong Un's recent weight loss is worrying people all over North Korea, a Pyongyang resident told tightly controlled state TV.
- Trump "never did follow the rules," says former Trump Org. exec. Barbara Res worked with Trump for 18 years and says he "deserves to go to jail" ahead of New York prosecutors potentially filing criminal charges. As possible criminal charges against the Trump Organization loom, Res told CNN nothing happened in the organization without the former president knowing about it.
- Mitch McConnell stayed silent on election fraud claims while quietly pleading with Bill Barr to speak out against them, book says. McConnell thought speaking out could risk upsetting Trump and hurt GOP chances in the Senate runoff. "You are the only person who can do it," McConnell told Barr, according to ABC's Jonathan Karl.
- The sweat descends. As temperatures in the Pacific Northwest hit above 110° F,
locals have been forced to head to cooling centers and bring farm animals inside. Portland, Oregon, saw the mercury hit an 80-year high of 112 degrees over the weekend. - Keep your large signs to yourself. The woman who caused a crash at the Tour de France will be sued once police find her, official says. "We are doing this so that the tiny minority of people who do this don't spoil the show for everyone," Pierre-Yves Thouault told AFP, after a woman's sign called a horrific pile up on Sunday.
