- Happy Father's Day, loser.Trump sent out a hyper critical statement wishing "losers" and "RINOs" a Happy Father's Day - again. This is not the first time Trump decided to include an insult in his Father's Day well-wishes. He did so in 2019 too, blasting his "vicious critics."
- Have you heard about this thing called podcasts? James Murdoch and Laurene Powell Jobs join a $12 million round backing a podcast startup as the audio market heats up. The firm led by former TED executive June Cohen sees an opportunity to expand in self-improvement.
- Noted guy who hates the government running for government office. Ammon Bundy, the anti-government militant who led an armed takeover of a US wildlife refuge, is running for governor of Idaho. Bundy, who is banned from the Idaho Capitol, said he's running "because I'm sick and tired of all of this political garbage just like you are."
- Make a list and check it twice - now. Your Christmas shopping this year could be held up by a staggering shipping backlog in southern China's ports. Experts say the COVID lockdown in Guangzhou may have caused a "ripple effect" along the global supply chain that exceeds the Ever Given getting stuck.
- Staffing struggles in the sky. American Airlines has canceled hundreds of flights due to staffing shortages and maintenance issues. American said it may cancel more than 50 flights per day through July as airlines and TSA contend with staffing shortages amid a surge in travel, ABC reported.
- How he gets it done. A day in the life of a Twitter exec in Singapore, who fits in an hour of "me time" during his workday and doesn't plan on going back to the office full-time. "Before the pandemic struck, I was on a plane almost every week," said Arvinder Gujral, Twitter's managing director for Southeast Asia. It led to "irregular sleep, an unhealthy carb-led diet, drinking during weekdays, and no time to work out."
