What's going on today:
- A doxxing dust-up. America's tech giants from Facebook to Google could leave Hong Kong because of its new doxxing regulations, which subject tech firms to potential criminal investigations. A group representing 15 tech companies cited concerns that Hong Kong's laws put staff at risk of criminal investigation over posts made by users.
- More red flags revealed. Surfside residents and the condo association board fought over building repairs in the months leading up to collapse. Arguments over the cost of necessary building repairs stemmed from a 2018 report that found signs of "major structural damage" in the complex.
