1. Elon Musk received $6.7 billion in compensation in 2020. His compensation makes him the highest-paid chief executive in the US for three years running - earning eleven times more than the second highest-paid US CEO. Here's a breakdown of how Musk gets paid (it's not all in cash).

2. Bill Gates transferred another $2 billion worth of stock to Melinda French Gates. Since the couple announced their divorce in May, French Gates has received about $6 billion worth of stock in transfers. Get the full story here.

4. Tesla's Cybertruck is officially delayed to 2022. The Cybertruck was originally supposed to start shipping this year, but its delay isn't a complete surprise: Elon Musk warned in January that production could be delayed. More on the truck's new timeline.

5. Pizza Hut wants to use AI tech to recommend foods to customers based on the weather. It's unclear, though, how the technology would work (and what food goes best with what weather). Take a look at the restaurant's AI ambitions.

6. Some Amazon sellers beg people to delete negative reviews. While contacting customers outside Amazon's system is against the company's rules, some sellers track people down and ask them to remove their reviews - and even offer to double refunds if they do. Here's what you need to know.

7. Tesla will require masks at a battery factory in Nevada. As the Delta variant spreads, other car manufacturers have also required masks, regardless of vaccination status. Get the latest on the company's COVID-19 response.

8. Apple says it won't let the government use its new image detection system for surveillance. The company defended its new software - which will scan for child sexual abuse images - amid a controversy over whether the system could be used by governments to surveil citizens. Here's what Apple said.

9. Gopuff slashed driver pay in Philadelphia - about a week after it raised $1 billion. Some employees are considering a work stoppage after the convenience store delivery company cut some drivers' pay from $12 an hour to $8.50. More on the tensions within the company.

10. VC Shervin Pishevar believes the firm behind the Steele dossier shared a fake police report that smeared him. The early Uber investor claims in a court filing that Fusion GPS has information about a forged police report that accused him of sexual assault. Everything we know about his latest efforts to defend himself against a string of sexual misconduct claims.
