Diversifying the high-tech talent pool
Nina Vaca, one of the U.S.'s most successful female Hispanic entrepreneurs, explains the importance of being intentional about diversity. At Pinnacle Group, the IT human resources company Vaca started at age 25, more than two-thirds of headquarters staff are women, including many top executives. To help encourage more women to enter high-tech businesses, Vaca has developed relationships with local education institutions promoting STEM subjects for women.
