Mark Cuban's daily routine often includes working in bed for the first hour.

He shared some details of a typical day on Trevor Noah's podcast.

"I get up probably at 7 or 6:30 a.m., just depending on the day," Cuban said. "I try to do everything by email — so then I'm in bed for an hour chilling, doing my emails, responding to anything that's urgent."

"Then get up, get something to eat, go workout, and then come back and rinse and repeat," he continued. "And that's it."

Cuban said he tries to do as few meetings and calls as possible throughout the day, attempting to communicate mostly via email. "I'm on my phone or my PC all day, every day," he said.

The "Shark Tank" star is known for his intense work ethic, once advising people to "work like there is someone working 24 hours a day to take it all away from you."

However, he told Noah he valued being able to decide his working hours.

"It's the one asset you can't control," Cuban said. "To me, just being able to control my own time so I can go to my kid's basketball games … those are the things that I really value."

He also denied rumors he was planning a presidential run and said his family would "disown" him if he made a play for the White House.

Cuban is leaving "Shark Tank" after season 16 concludes in 2025 after joining the show in its second season in 2011, so he can spend more time with his family.
